I am unclear whether this was a mind meld, or an edict from the organizers -- certainly there have not *always* been this many black dresses at amfAR -- or just a side effect of the fact that there's so much Mônot here and they deal overwhelmingly in black. Did they sponsor this? Where are they getting all this money?
