Apparently some people thought "women of the year" equaled "wear a GIANT SLEEVE." Also: Christian Siriano had a great night at this event, as he was *by far t*he most worn designer. On one hand, I wish that women would choose to wear a female designer to a night celebrating women. But on the other hand, Siriano has historically been, of all the major NYFW designers, the most supportive -- by far! -- of women in all our shapes and sizes and ages. There's a reason all these women turned to him to find something special to wear for this event, and he deserves recognition for being a great ally, too. So I'll allow it.
