The NRDC is an environmental group that threw a fundraiser -- with various comics performing -- to honor Julia Louis-Dreyfus for "her extraordinary commitment and service to the planet." They are referring to her climate-science advocacy, but it also applies to her entire body of professional work. *Veep*, for example, is a service to our planet. These GIFs are a service to our planet:

Elaine Benes dancing is, yes, a service to our planet.

Service to our planet. Elaine's handling of George's toupee, even with no sound?

Service to the planet.

And, however you feel about Amy Schumer, Julia's work in the "Last F\*ckable Day" sketch is *absolutely* a service to our planet:

Thank you, JLD. I hope you had a riotous evening.
