Michelle Dockery and Lupita Nyong'o

First of all, I want these two to star in a movie where they fight crime and kick people's asses (which may in fact happen a bit in this movie). I know they do share a stylist -- Micaela Erlanger, and she probably gets a VERY nice Christmas gift this year from both of them -- so surely a movie where they get to look awesome and be bad-asses is not that far away.

Lupita Nyong'o

Her HEAD looks amazing, as usual, and this color is great -- you KNOW I love shiny -- but I'm not sure if this cut is so great on her. It kind of makes her look like she's wrapped in tin foil.

Michelle Dockery

But this, I love; it's patterned AND metallic AND has sleeves AND is very ladylike, which are all things I love in dresses AND the shoes are GREAT. All around, a combined score of about an 8. Good enough for this pairs team to make it through to the long program, where I expect them to dominate. Wait. The Olympics are over now, aren't they. Sorry.

Michelle Dockery On Extra

And I love this as well. Sunglasses + a red lip is hard to resist.

Fabs and Fines: Michelle Dockery and Lupita Nyong'o
I am almost relieved that Lupita is wearing something that I am not madly in love with. I have that superstitious sports fan feeling where I need her to make a tiny misstep now to decrease the chances that she'll make a giant one at the Oscars. Additionally, I don't understand why so few of the ads for Non-Stop include either one of these women. I've seen one with Lady Mary in it, but none with Lupita -- I didn't even realize she was in it, until Fug Friend Grant told me.
