I was JUST thinking about Ricky Martin, and when he performed on the Grammys in 1999, which many of you Youngs are too young to remember, and how it was such a SHOWSTOPPER and literally the next day at work, everyone was like, "OMG that Ricky Martin person IS AMAZING." In my memory, he sang "La Vida Loca" then as well, but I was wrong. It was "Cup of Life," and we need to talk about that video. (a) The quality is terrible, I am sorry. (b) In my memory, he was also wearing much tighter leather pants. (c) Yes, at the turn of the most recent century, our male pop stars TOTALLY performed in sweaters and no one thought anything of it. Additionally, Ricky Martin has always been cute and I think I miss him.
