Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice

Eugenie and Beatrice on Royal Ascot, Day 5

Our sources didn't have great pics of either of these outfits, which makes me wonder if they didn't ride in the procession. Eugenie also had on black shoes, and that color combo is SO GOOD ON HER. Thank you, Eugenie, for SEEING THE LIGHT. Or at least the not-beige. Bea looks pretty, too, and appears to be doing good work on that cocktail. I approve.

I just think this is so wonderful. It's The Saskatchewan Tourmeline Flower which she was given in 2013, and the designer apparently spent a month studying QEII's wardrobe to make one that would be best. How rewarding THAT must have been when she woke up and found out it had been worn to Royal Ascot.

Wah-waaaaah. And on the last day, too. Actually, it's fine -- she looks perfectly rosy in it -- but I LOVE her in brights.

Her Majesty is kicking herself for not wearing this.

This looks like the milliner's interpretation of having an elegant pie thrown on your head.

That hat LONGS for a lady Captain Hook. Or a female musketeer.

It says a lot for this woman's face that the hat works so well on it.
