I think loafers and a shirt dress are pretty adorable for her -- when you're 15, it's probably exhausting to be all super-high fashion all the time. Also, it looks super normal compared to Sanya, who simultaneously looks polished and preppy-cool, and overdone to the point of being a Hilfiger poster-child.

Whoever at Marc Jacobs sent this to her should be sauteed in salt water and then released into a room full of bees. Even the Annie orphans would have been like, "No thanks, my three-week-dirty rags are way cuter, and that includes the spot where Molly puked cold mush on them last Thursday."

Do you even need to hear from me what I would have done with this? You don't. You know it already. You know it in the depths of your soul.

I actually just typed, "Cute idea, if you replaced all the pieces," and then deleted it because that's an absurd thing to say, and then added it again because it's still TRUE even though it's dumb. Little skirt (?), long-sleeved shirt, and booties: Cute, generally. However, THIS little skirt (?), with its unfortunate pattern that looks like a pen burst in her lap, and THAT long-sleeved shirt with wench shoulders and shoulder lace is really distractingly weird, and THOSE quasi-booties (I'm mildly concerned they might be mules)... well, I am not sold on the execution.

I just want to take that darling face and plonk it atop another outfit.

Like this. It's simple with flair, although... that pair of shoes is my nemesis. On a cellular level they are poisoning me.

This isn't as bad as I feared when I downloaded it. I might want to snip off the neck tie because the dangly bits are throwing off the whole ensemble, and I'm meh on the giant platforms, but listen: Those last shoes... really hurt my feelings. So these are an upgrade I can't refuse.

But THIS is great. Sometimes a simple piece of sparkle really is the answer.

Also simple, also cute. I've decided I might need leather pants. Which also means I need to go to the gym, like, right now. Bye.
