Her hair is covering the symmetry of the top -- there is a strap over that shoulder. I like the dress. It's a good amount of cleavage but not pinched, pancaked, nor pushed-around. The shoes are boring, but as basics go they're completely fine. I accept that in life there can't ALWAYS be fascinating shoes.

I like this Jason Wu dress on her, too. I do find these trompe l'oeil designs a little distracting, but this one bothers me less than most, possibly due to the color. I'm a sucker for the brights.

This is a funky look, too -- she's at a Proenza Schouler show, so I assume that's what this is. Not for nothing, but there is a woman behind her with pink hair and an argyle jacket that's as long as her shorts, and my eye still floats back to Chastain.

This is McQueen. I'm undecided. I might like it. Those shoes are INSANE, though. But in a good way? Or in a good way with an outfit that isn't bright red? These are the questions. I think... my verdict is that I like it because it fits, it's not unflattering, and she's at least TRYING to do something interesting with her feet. But on the whole those shoes would be better with a different colored dress -- the feet and the outfit don't HAVE to make statements concurrently. Imagine them with that first blue dress, maybe. Or with this next one.

I really don't care for the monochrome nature of this. Swap in the colorful footwear when the dress itself needs more help, methinks. Having said THAT... I really do not think she should wear this color ever again.

I never found a photo of this that showed me the entire outfit. However... I don't think I need to, either. In fact, I might not want to know.
