## Helen Hunt

I think this is sort of classy AND sort of subtly festive. I was really tired of Helen Hunt for a while and now I am kind of back in. Sometimes people need to go away for us to want them to come back.

## Nia Vardalos

Nia looks lovely, right? Very understated...a little shapeless? But that is, as we all know, better in case you want to really hit the buffet. I ALWAYS do.

## Amy Adams

I SHOULD like this. But I do not. At all. Huh. Maybe I have a fever.

## Virgina Madsen

Madsen seriously never got invited to an Academy event she didn't attend. I like this color, but you know what I will say about her accessorizing: needs more bracelet.

## Leslie Mann

This is cracked out in that Rooney Mara Post *Girl With a Dragon Tattoo* kind of way, but I think she is pulling it off. DO I have a fever? I do, don't I? Is the cure more cowbell? I think I've got one of those around here somewhere.

[Fines and Fabs: the Annual Governors AwardsSince this event is thrown by the people who brought you the Oscars, can we say that awards season has begun to warm up? I think we can. \[Photos: Getty\]![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2012/12/157341706.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fines-and-fabs-the-annual-governors-awards-12-2012/)
