(Photo by Chris Polk/FilmMagic) So, I still think she looks gorgeous. But I'm going to be completely honest here and say that SOMETIMES when I look at this photo, I think those strips of neck ruffles look a bit... glued on. And SOMETIMES I wish there weren't a knot on her crotch. ## with Heath Ledger ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-74757892-1773209112.jpg) Michelle Williams, nominee Best Actress in a Supporting Role for ?Brokeback Mountain? and Heath Ledger, nominee Best Actor in a Leading Role for "Brokeback Mountain" during the The 78th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, C I like it better in this picture. I also enjoy that everyone in the background of this photo is staring at them. ## Charlize Theron in John Galliano for Dior ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-74756935-1773209734.jpg) Charlize Theron, nominee Best Actress in a Leading Role for "North Country" at the The 78th Annual Academy Awards - Red Carpet at Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic) This is much too busy for Charlize. And X appears to be marking the spot of her pelvis. ## Reese Witherspoon in vintage Dior ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-81501707-1773209091.jpg) Reese Witherspoon (Photo by SGranitz/WireImage) Vintage was a fun choice for her, but I've never been totally sold on whether this particular one suits her. ## Amy Adams in Carolina Herrera ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-85353048-1773285060.jpg) Amy Adams, nominee Best Actress in a Supporting Role for "Junebug" (Photo by Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage) So, she has that cute ribbon on her bodice, and then someone glued a brown maxi pad in front of it? ## Rachel Weisz ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-75527219-1773209076.jpg) Rachel Weisz, winner Best Actress in a Supporting Role for ?The Constant Gardener? at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California (Photo by Steve Granitz/WireImage) Twenty years later and I could not tell you what The Constant Gardener is about. I also cannot tell you for sure that I haven't seen it? I know. Google can solve only one of those problems. ## Keira Knightley in Vera Wang ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-75526898-1773209150.jpg) Keira Knightley, nominee Best Actress in a Leading Role for "Pride & Prejudice" at the The 78th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals at Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California. (Photo by Chris Polk/FilmMagic) This dress needed a strapless neckline for that wonderful necklace to work. It's also a bizarre amount of wrapping. It's like a tourniquet. ## Jessica Alba in Versace ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-57003781-1773209168.jpg) Hollywood, UNITED STATES: Actress Jessica Alba arrives 05 March, 2006, for the 78th Academy Awards to be presented at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, California. AFP PHOTO/JEFF HAYNES (Photo credit should read JEFF HAYNES/AFP via Getty Images) This lacks the precision I normally associate with Versace. It feels like they came into the It Girl game at the last second and had to hurry. ## Meryl Streep ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/03/GettyImages-179880035-1773209185.jpg) Meryl Streep during The 78th Annual Academy Awards - Red Carpet at Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California, United States.
