A multitude of stars braved the wet weather yesterday to attend one of the biggest nights on the British film calendar - the Baftas. Rags to riches tale 'Slumdog Millionaire' led the night after being nominated in eleven categories. And it didn't disappoint when it came to scooping awards; not only did it win the prestigious Best Film but there were also honours for director Danny Boyle and screenwriter Simon Beaufoy. Another big winner on the night was Kate Winslet - securing the Best Actress Bafta for her performance in 'The Reader' and coming one step closer to that elusive best actress Oscar. Meanwhile, Best Actor went to the comeback kid of Hollywood, Mickey Rourke, for his acclaimed role in The Wrestler. Supporting Actor was posthumously awarded to Heath Ledger for his turn as The Joker in Batman movie The Dark Knight. Penelope Cruz scooped the Supporting Actress gong for her performance in Woody Allen's 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona'.
I love her and that needs a hoik. That's gonna be on my tombstone. (I am going to need a big tombstone at this rate.)

Oh, man, this was from Brad's phase where he looked like someone suspected of murder on the Orient Express. Angie at least had on an interesting dress.

She was 18. I applaud the neck embroidery; this needed something and I can see an 18-year old not wanting to be accountable for twenty pounds of loaned bling from Harry Winston.
