The MTV VMAs are on Sunday -- airing on CBS, because apparently MTV is so irrelevant that it doesn't even air its own big events anymore -- and at times like this, a lady's mind wanders to ceremonies of yore. Twenty years ago, what were people wearing? What hair phase was LiLo in? Was Hilary Duff standing up straight? You have questions, I have answers. Spoiler: HILARY, STAND UP STRAIGHT, GIRL.
