Cynthia Erivo is doing a one-woman *Dracula* on-stage in London -- in the vein of Sarah Snook's *Picture of Dorian Gray*, and indeed from the same director. [Reviews](https://www.whatsonstage.com/news/dracula-in-the-west-end-review-cynthia-erivo-gives-the-show-some-much-needed-bite%5F1712503/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) seem to be that *she* is great but that the play and the execution of the conceit itself doesn't really work, but all credit to her for attempting that gauntlet. Sidebar: I was JUST thinking the other day that Florence Pugh had been MIA for a while, and now here she is, attending Dracula. Did I manifest this? No offense to Florence, whom I find delightful, but I need to know if I have that kind of power so I can use it better (and I think she'd agree).
