# France Also Held Its Oscars This Weekend

Diane Kruger really seems to be feeling peekaboo stuff right now, as she chased this memorable Givenchy -- y'all liked it more than I did -- with a Chanel that's in a similar vein. This one is less architecturally theatrical than the other, and I have to say... as much as parts of that Givenchy are overdone to me, it's also going to be my preference here. This has a whiff of cheapness to it, as if someone built the gold dress portion out of washi tape. The sheer top looks loose, and the bottom isn't so much a skirt as one giant nylon. It's essentially crotchless tights. I'M SO GLAD SHE'S BACK.
