I must preface this gallery by noting that the Informative Captions for this selection are terrific. Thank you to whatever young photog penned these before filing them. Over to you! "Singer Frank Sinatra kisses his new bride, formerly Mia Farrow, after she had chopped into their wedding cake after vows were exchanged at the Sands Hotel." Chopped is a great word here.

Here's a better look at said cake, which DOES say "Best Wishes From The Sands." That's some great promo material for the hotel! Well done, guys.

Now, Mia's very chic little mod suit looks white to me in the previous photo. But Informative Caption says "Mrs. Frank Sinatra, the former Mia Farrow, is dazzling in her pink faille two-piece sheath with a double-breasted jacket trimmed with rhinestone buttons. Her jewelry includes her nine-carat diamond engagement ring, diamond earrings, and a row of diamonds as a bracelet. Her wedding ring is an old-fashioned plain gold band. Frank Sinatra seems appropriately impressed following their wedding on July 19th." I suppose it could be very VERY VERY light pink? I believe the woman in the background is Edith Mayer, who acted as Mia's matron of honor. She's a Mayer of Metro Goldwyn Mayer and she was married to a TREMENDOUSLY big deal producer who was, at this point, the head of production at Universal.

I assume this little jacket is actually buttoned over a shift dress, rather than this being a top/shirt combo. I personally adore this vibe for a wedding. It's also worth noting that Frank, as ever, looks tremendously dapper and is 100% perfectly tailored in every way.

I shall once again turn to Informative Caption: "A nine carat diamond engagement ring and an old fashioned plain gold wedding band are conspicuous on the hand of the new Mrs. Frank Sinatra--the former Mia Farrow, 21, as she stands on the patio of the Sands Hotel, following her wedding to the entertainer. The bracelet is a double row of diamonds." I'LL TAKE IT. Honestly, that bracelet is a banger; I love it. The Adventurine reports that the ring was from Ruser, which was a Beverly Hills jeweller to the stars known for discretion.

I couldn't resist tossing this one in: "Mia Farrow visits her husband of two weeks on the set of his latest film in London and meets the couple's wedding present from Elizabeth Taylor." I do always say that you cannot go wrong with a teeny Pekingese as a wedding gift.
