It sucks that when Serena Williams did it, and for a major medical reason, the French scolded her for it. (Photo by Tnani Badreddine/DeFodi Images via Getty Images) Stan's neon is very tennis-coded, appropriately. He knocked out Andy Murray. One old vet takes down another. Their embrace and chat at the net was really long and seemingly very affectionate and sincere. I don't think either relished the idea of defeating the other. ## Alex de Minaur ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2155076027-1716938179.jpg) PARIS, FRANCE - MAY 28\. That year she and Emma Raducanu tore up the US Open was so thrilling. ## Bianca Andreescu ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2154398594-1716938085.jpg) PARIS, FRANCE - MAY 27: Bianca Andreescu of Canada in action against Sara Sorribes Tormo of Spain in the Women's Singles first round match on Day 2 of the French Open at Roland Garros on May 27, 2024 in Paris, France. (Photo by Quality Sport Images/Getty Images) Alize lost, and retired; I'm very sad she won't be out there anymore because her on-court interviews were often very funny and she had sneaky upset capability. ## Barbora Krejcikova ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/05/GettyImages-2154779317-1716938443.jpg) PARIS, FRANCE - MAY 26: Barbora Krejcikova of Czech Republic in action against Viktorija Golubic of Switzerland in the Women's Singles first round match on Day One of the 2024 French Open at Roland Garros on May 26, 2024 in Paris, France. HIs ranking is down to 26, he needed a five-setter to advance, and he's running up against Shapo.
