You know who else came to the state dinner? Heads of state! YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST, PEOPLE. Brigitte is wearing Louis Vuitton. You know how there are tiaras that can also be used as necklaces, or whatever? This dress feels very inspired by that idea. Unfortunately it needed maybe ONE more steam. (Emmanuel looks fine. Tuxes are the classic choice; it's hard to know what to say there.)

Joe's shirt looks like it got away from him a little; it's bunching. It happens. And Dr. Jill is in Oscar de la Renta, repping an American brand, as one should. She is so lovely. The dress's dark, busy pattern work feels heavy for the night, but then again, so is the air in our country right now so perhaps it's also on-point.
