Real talk: I did hate SOME of this. But not with my usual face flames. Booth Moore, in *WWD*, said Stella McCartney's line this season felt refreshingly pragmatic after having seen several others this week that felt like "contrived cool," and that rings true to me -- without knowing which runway show she was referring to, there has been an air of try-hard about several of them, and this one definitely reads more relaxed. There is still WILD stuff in here, including tiny little bodices that look like bras on a string. But even with those exceptions, I found that I picked up a vibe here more than usual. Look how cute that dress is up there! Up is down and left is right and Stella turned out some good pieces. I hardly even know what's what anymore.
