## Gabrielle Union in Schiaparelli

This is, by Schiaparelli standards, so run-of-the-mill. It's a bummer. Gabrielle Union can carry off so much, too. Which is why I thought to myself... are things all good in Union-Wadeville? Because this COULD have a whiff of a revenge dress about it.

It looks sillier in the natural light, somehow, when she's posing on the way in and looking morose in what amounts to a series of Glamour Don't bars. (Sigh, future generations will NEVER understand the glories of those. Hell, the current generation doesn't.)

## Regina King in Schiaparelli

This is also sedate, but glam. But Regina King is low-key like that.

## Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu

THAT is suitably dramatic for our Sylvie, but do I detect underboob poking out? RETHINK.

## Carla Bruni

She is just tremendously chic.

## Lynda Carter

"HELLOOOOOO, look who else got invited?????"

Wonder Woman, in fact, had a hell of a time hamming it up for the cameras outside.

I don't know what the directive was, but I love it.

## Pixie Lott and Oliver Cheshire

She looks like he told her they were taking the convertible with the top down.

## Didi Stone in Rahul Mishra

She looks like a reverse Valentine -- something you send to tell someone you love to hate them.

## Maria Bakalova in Giambattista Valli

This looks like a fancy linen placemat, but okay.

We don't talk about what happened to poor Elmo.
