This is definitely interesting. I can't decide if I want to shake her hand, or tap her on the shoulder that isn't being eaten and warn her that something from the sea has risen spitefully against her.

My favorite part about this is that she put on her glasses -- she wasn't wearing them on the red carpet, but she had to read off a TelePrompTer. I actually surprisingly like the dress, too; it's just that her bust is a little big for it. First World problems. Then again, this whole Web site is basically a chronicle of First World problems.

That is a TON of makeup, though. So much that some of it seems physically incapable of blending smoothly. The effect is that somebody is shining flashlight beams in each eye.

I ALSO might like this. It's plain, but the turquoise jewelry and orange lipstick are fun with it.

It's too bad this wrinkled like an accordion, because the idea is nice. Then again, it does conflict with our general edict that illusion netting belongs only on the ice. Maybe steam this and then whip it out for Boss Capades, Kathleen?

WAIT. It's not netting, really... and the shoulder detail is pretty cool... I think the dress passes, but the stiff, crunchy hair flunks, so the whole thing is a C.

I think her fearlessness with lip color does her a service, because she also really, really likes wearing white, and those things work best hand-in-hand. I'm glad she picked red accessories to liven this up.

That is a pantload of body makeup. Or bronzer. Whatever. And the hair makes her look like Brigitte Nielsen.

Are those... giant feathers holding up her toga? I guess that's resourceful -- I'm sure more than one Ancient lady found herself in a toga pickle, wherein she needed to hide her rock-hewn pins. Actually, I have no idea what the hell I'm even saying. The dress confuses me. I think it's both plain and sort of amusing -- the feathers made me laugh a little -- and the color is great. Maybe the problem is, those are my feelings about Clare Arnold. She was sort of awful, then sort of funny, and then accidentally I liked her and then I got mad at her for douching out on Steve. It all worked out okay -- Steve ended up with Janet, and I love Lindsay Price -- but still. I don't know how to feel, is what I'm saying. I expected not to like all these; I've turned out to like some of them, and I am unmoored. UNMOORED.
