These were the shoes that looked like garter guns to me -- like rubber-band shooters, except with more sex appeal, and possibly less injurious.

I like these a lot. They also look a bit like a dark spell woven by one of the Malfoy ladies.

Now THESE are some Slytherin shoes.

I imagine these to be the cheaper version of Emma's shoes, although frankly I have no idea if that's true. They're also maybe a bit edgier.

This style of shoe is all the rage right now, I guess. Or all the ENRAGE.... no. Sorry. That's too hacky even for me. Also, I'm not enraged.

Does one really need body glitter when one has on rhinestone shoes?

Those McQueen booties were not attractive to begin with; knocking them off hasn't helped.

Some of you disagreed with my take on these shoes (summary: I couldn't really process the outfit because I really did not like these at ALL and they were so distracting with it). Up close, I still feel that way, although the woven look is at least COOLER than if they were plain old leather. i will give them that. I will not give them anything else, not even if they show up on my door in the rain desperate for a mug of hot chocolate. ... Well, okay, I would give them that, too. I'm not made of stone.

Why couldn't she have just left booties alone?

Those look like they would rub in a very awkward heel place.

Surely these are not comfortable. And yet surely, as with many of these, that was not the point.

I guess the thick strappy thing is back in, which spells doom for anyone with cankles. Not that Katherine Heigl is one of those people; I'm just expressing concern for the afflicted.

See? Big thick straps up high, tiny strap down low. Again. Get ready.

I liked these. I don't know why. I wouldn't wear them myself, but with her whole outfit I thought they were a good pick. Even though, up close, they look even MORE like a Florida diner's banquette seat.

At least summer has brought with it some unusual color choices.

No. Just no. Even the woodworking is poor.

Pretty, and toe-crushing.

I like that heel. It looks a little art deco. Like the lobby of an old family-run hotel.

These are Charlotte Olympia shoes, a name I'm hearing more and more. I'm amused that she has a golden spiderweb on the arch of the sole -- I wonder if all her shoes have that. I could Google it, I suppose, but where's the fun in actually ANSWERING my own questions?!? It's Friday! It's lazy time!

Those are fine, but let's be honest, I just wanted to show a close-up of those crazytown pants again.

Carly really wore these. Carly is also 27. These two things do not compute together for me. If you are not Willow Smith, you have no business with these shoes.

Is it wrong that I want these? Because I DO. Sort of. I want a softer-looking all-leather version that maybe has a pointy toe and a skinnier heel, and... okay, NOW I'm going to hit up Google.
