# Fug Madness 2011, Sweet Sixteen: Cher Bracket

**(1) TAYLOR MOMSEN vs (5) LINDSAY LOHAN**

In many ways, this matchup is terribly apt -- Momsen seems headed down a similar path that LiLo took, a.k.a. the path to Grossville via Nutbar Junction, and so it's sort of like pitting two generations against each other.

I love how every member of Taylor's band, The Pretty Reckless (surprisingly, not that bad), seems to be avoiding looking directly AT her, as if she is the sun and might scorch their eyeballs -- or more accurately, as if she's an under-18 wearing a bra and they are afraid acknowledging her existence will get them into handcuffs, and not in a fun way.

Lilo is certainly no stranger to making us look at her funky bunches:

I never thought I'd say these words, but here goes: Thank GOD she's wearing hot pants.

Both these ladies also really enjoy conveying important messages through clothing:

Oh, Lindsay. "Same Old Chic" is particularly true, considering that in your spankies and thigh-highs, you are in fact every bit as chuc as you usually are. As for Momsen, well, right now Satan is like, "Thanks but no thanks, honey."

They both also like mysterious shades and bad extensions:

... whereas Momsen chooses what we can charitably call low-waisted panty-hose.

Lohan doesn't quite have the equal for this:

But it might just be for lack of trying. Because if LiLo had a band, and she thrashed around with it on-stage while wearing this little number, I'm sure we'd have seen her instrument.

I will never, ever get tired of reminding the world that she wore a sweatshirt with tights. I MEAN. It's like the walk of shame from a guy's dorm to the dining hall.

But what of formalwear? Well, it's been a long time since Taylor Momsen went anywhere dressy, probably because everybody is terrified to invite her anywhere.

It says a lot about her year, though, that the time Taylor looked the best was in a ill-fitting ball gown on the *Gossip Girl* set, wearing A MASK. And it says a lot about Lindsay's year that she wore this, willingly, to an event, WITHOUT a mask:

Seriously, it was so hard to choose pictures for this entry. There is so much carnage in both [Taylor's](https://gofugyourself.com/celebs/taylor-momsen?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and [Lindsay's](https://gofugyourself.com/celebs/lindsay-lohan?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) archives. I encourage you to take another whirl through them -- if nothing else, the horror will make you feel alive -- before kicking one of these two wackjobs to the curb.
