In this photo, I feel like... it's so hard to gauge the costume Western wear of two hopeless attention addicts, but Madonna's at least looks festive, whereas Miley's looks like bad road. FANCY bad road -- like maybe Dolly Parton just has a couple potholes in her driveway.

I'm so sad I already made the "I am a material grill" joke. But at least by saying that, I am effectively making it again.

She supposedly wore this because her son David wanted them to match. That's nice and all, but sometimes parents are supposed to PARENT, and not just let their kids call the shots. Then again, at least he didn't want her to wear the cone boobs.

Many have asked why we include performance wear, and this is why we do: Because it was willingly worn, in public, and I do not believe ANY performer goes on-stage in something they haven't approved, or they think looks bad on them, or which doesn't tickle them deeply. (Wait, bad choice of words, given this outfit's various issues.) Whether Miley is trying to shock people or not, I firmly believe she -- and Beyonce, and Rihanna, and Katy Perry, and Gaga, and their ilk -- is proud of all her stage wear and would wear it again in a hot second given the chance. And so it counts. These things aren't accidents, and PLENTY of compelling performers are capable of going on-stage and resisting the urge to wear underwear sets, so: it counts. Fug Madness preaches accountability.
