Sure, as noted in [Tuesday's post about clothes to wear when it's HOT AS BALLS](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fug-nation-loves-clothes-for-when-its-just-too-hot-07-2026/) (apologies for the indelicacy), it's steamy out there. But you still might have some festive summer-y outdoor events to attend -- it cools down in the evenings, a little, anyway, right? Perhaps you're going to an outdoor movie screening or a concert or meeting friends in the park for charcuterie and gossip and wine. Maybe you've got a pool and you like to sit by it and chat! You very well may have multiple occasions to use, for example, [acrylic wine glasses.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71803535?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (I just take mine onto my patio.) You can also[ get these pink acrylic coupes!](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71803827?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) They're so cute. ([Or margarita glasses!](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71808507?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)) I also love [these melamine plates with people swimming and playing tennis on them.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71805575?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) This[ faux wood serving bowl is great](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71808029?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \-- and there's [a matching platter, too.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71808264?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) And[ these melamine dishes are SO good -- they look like Sicilian maiolica ceramics.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71879788?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

I also really recommend getting little portable, cordless table lamps -- [these are well-priced and well-reviewed at Target,](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71807193?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and I [was gifted one of these when I got married and it was one of our best gifts](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71807669?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). They are SO HANDY if you want to be able to see your charcuterie once it gets a little darker. (They're also useful if your power goes out.) And these[ vintage plastic 1970s "picnic balls" are PERFECT](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71809551?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). (There are[ a lot of them](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71809929?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) on Etsy if that one is sold out.) Look at[ this clever wine tote](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71810796?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \-- it comes with glasses, napkins, and a corkscrew! And [these outdoor wine bottle covers are GENIUS.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-71812553?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)
