Last week, [I rounded up tiny things](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fug-nation-loves-tiny-things-12-2020/). Now, as we head toward New Year's Eve -- such as it will be this year! -- let us gather our inner magpies and look at *shiny* things. I am a person who has had to ban herself from buying anything else in gold lamè, and thus I need to shop vicariously here, but in this very dark winter, sequins might be required. (At the very least, we may have Zoom NYE parties coming up!)

*As always: Nothing here was sponsored! Like most websites, GFY uses affiliate links where available, in which cases we earn a little money if you click through and buy something. We can assure you that all these gifts were personally chosen while we sat around drinking egg nog and watching The Flight Attendant.*
