# Fug Nation Loves Stuff You Might Want To Wear on a Vacation!

As I think I've mentioned here before, I *love* planning a vacation. It is half the fun, as far as I am concerned. I enjoy cross-referencing TripAdvisor and Reddit and the Rick Steves forums. I love researching hotels and restaurants and activities! And, crucially, also planning my outfits. (I know there is a subset of travelers who don't ever buy anything new for their trips and, friends, I admire your restraint!) I don't like to pack too much but figuring out *what* to pack so I feel like I have plenty to wear is also part of the fun. I am not taking a big trip this summer, [since my husband and I went to Italy last year](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/p/ranking-italysbathrooms-sure) \-- we're just going down to the beach for a couple of days at some point -- and that simply means I will have to live vicariously through those of you who are. Thus! This collection of items, a bunch of stuff you might want to wear when you trot off to Europe or Mexico or the lake or your local beach -- or perhaps even on a theoretical *emotional* vacation, given how expensive the world is and, um, that Europe is running out of jet fuel.

(Over at Pact, [I am considering these shorts, too.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-54056307?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) I need some shorts because I have gained some perimenopause weight and several of my old ones don't fit right anymore. I'm also tempted by the kooky ones in the widget.)
