As you may or may not be aware, [the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opened to everyone over the weekend](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72744629?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). My own personal mantra for this event, as I've mentioned here many times previously, is that this is not the time to splash out on a bunch of random stuff as much as it is a good time to stock up on stuff you know you need or will definitely use. For example, [my favorite Clinique moisturizer is on sale in the jumbo size](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72741913?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I also like [this Clinique mascara;](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72742177?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) the sale item is a duo, so this is another one of those where I'd really only get it if it's your holy grail, everyday mascara. *A lot* of the sales in beauty are on jumbo sizes or doubles or both, so double-check you're not ordering something super huge that you're only mildly into. I[ love this Supergoop! sunscreen and repurchase over the summer,](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72749853?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) so it's great for me to get two jumbo ones at one go but that's not always the case, obviously. (I keep thinking about the tie I once absent-mindedly ordered a case of mustard instead of one jar.)

It's also a good time to [grab a new bra](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72742460?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (it looks like [a lot of Wacoal is marked down](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72744917?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)), or [socks](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72742588?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) (like, they've [got a lot of Bombas in the sale](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72742731?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)). Maybe [you need some new luggage](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72751444?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). The[ home stuff is pretty good,](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72814262?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) especially if you need sheets and towels, or you aren't picky about[ the color of your Le Creuset.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72814960?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) You know the drill! This is not your first Anniversary Sale!! (In fact, [if you look at the "bestsellers" tab,](https://go.shopmy.us/p-72750644?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) it's A LOT of bras.) Anyway -- to save everyone some time, I went through all the boring/practical categories and picked out some of the most useful sale items.
