Someone in the comments noted that Christian said, effectively, that she picked the fabric and the cut. I think.... if that's true, he certainly did a nice job tailoring this as if he loves it deeply, because he did not cheap out on the construction, even if the shape and texture is not his choosing. He obviously just wanted her to be happy.
The fact that it's REALLY REALLY NOT GOOD notwithstanding. Oh, Anna. You are wonderful. This is so agonizing.

I didn't even realized I'd typed "Edith" and not "Laura Carmichael" until I got to writing the actual caption. This dress is so Edith though, in the sense that LADY MARY WINS AGAIN.

That skirt is a very sad story.

She could do so much better. I think she is at war with her worst Kardashian instincts.

It's not her worst, but that doesn't mean it's good.

I don't HATE the top of this? But she did it already, and did it better, at the Golden Globes. So then we're left with the skirt, and... pass. My heart will always be open to you, Kiki, but Riccardo Tisci has made me cold and unfeeling when it comes to sheers.

This dress is basically fine. I just had to marvel at the hair again. It's enormous. It's like Marie Osmond starring in Astronaut Wives.

It's just so MUSTY. Her head is fab -- I love her with that hair color -- but that dress is too matronly for her.

Yes, I find her head and personality to be doing good work here, but... I can't pretend that mullet-poncho makes sense.

Keri always looks so plaintive. Like she's got to deliver distressing news. I also have some distressing news, which is that this dress is a mess.

Speaking of messes, this is as sloppy as she's ever looked. What is HAPPENING there.

Searching for a redeeming feature... still searching... still... searching...

We were all divided on this, but I ultimately decided I don't like it, so I'm sticking it here for fun. The color scheme looks like the most garish of country-western blouses from Olden Times, and actually think this is one time I would advocate a much lighter lip. The hot red fights brutally with the yellow and pink.

This is so NOT what I expect from Nancy O'Dell. It's just... shocking, really.

This doesn't fit, but worse and weirder, THE PATTERN IS BABIES.

This just could have gone better.
