This let me down after having so much potential. LE SIGH. Dry your tears on your gorgeous husband, madam.
The belt. THE BELT. It's 100 percent wrong, and so are the tummy ruffles. Actually, the ruffles might really be what make the belt so bad.
THIS IS A CATASTROPHE.
Sigh. No.
Oh, what could have been...
Inexcusably poor fit.
I could not dislike MORE this combination of colors.
It's been bothering me since Sunday that this dress is very pretty EXCEPT for how it goes full codpiece on her.
Just... NO.
HOLA LOVERS YOU PUT ME IN THE WRONG SLIDESHOW WHAAAAA
Tweeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Oh, Karl. Down this path only madness lies.
Bod or no bod, this is just tacky for the situation. Or tacky, period. There was actually some classy Versace on display, too, which makes this even sadder.
This dress was built for her. By a woman who hung out in her hotel suite all night. And Vera Wang promised her she'd take care of her post-baby. LIES. I applaud her for wearing this anyway with a smile, but how did she not want to THROTTLE EVERYONE ASSOCIATED WITH IT?
I hope this was performance art.
I like HER. I do not like this dress. She deserves better. And I will bring up the weight loss only because SHE has brought it up: She worked hard to lose some pounds for her health. Had that been me, I'd have found a way to show it off better.
Speaking of showing it off.
This CANNOT be her size.
This is busier than a fashion blogger during awards season.
I want SO BADLY to see the green velvet coat dress that DOESN'T rely on that horrible bra. That dress might have been on the best list.
The McCartney giveth, and the McCartney taketh away.
The McCartney didn't even bother to giveth to this one.

I don't like the gloves. But the actual real reason this is here: The discussion in the comments about the Charlie Hebdo stuff -- everything from "Je Suis Charlie" to the nuances of the Quran -- is fabulous, and it underscores one of the things that's so special about Fug Nation and which makes me proud to be part of it. It begins a ways down with commenter "sp" -- for search purposes if you aren't keen to scroll -- and goes from there.
