# Fug or Fab: Alicia Vikander in Erdem

After taking a long look at [Alicia's red carpet style in 2015](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/2015-the-year-in-alicia-vikander-01-2016/), I am stunned to note that she *isn't* wearing Louis Vuitton at this event:

By and large, I really like this -- you know I love a dot -- although I feel like her stylist got to Palm Springs and thought, "ugh, I meant to bring another pair of shoes. Whatever. These are *fine.* We're really just warming up, anyway." It's extremely *sweet*, which I think works better on her than it would on, say, Saoirse Ronan (who might just look too twee and young in something like this). More importantly, this kind of excites me for the upcoming awards season. Bring on the ruffles and the tiers and the prints. WE'RE READY.
