## Amal Alamuddin Clooney and Intern George

Her head and her legs look fabulous, as usual. And I want so badly to celebrate the disco gold-lamé frock, but the design looks too much like a cautionary tale in an ad for dryer sheets. It's beyond just static cling; it's static crotch.

Also, in reference to Intern George's dressed-down attire, it seems like maybe Amal is the one who opted to go fancier than the occasional may have warranted -- which is fine; I just think George was going for Hey Let's Chill On My Expensive Patio And Sip Tequila As If It's A Drink Anyone Willingly Sips Rather Than Mixing Or Just Chugging It As Fast As Possible To Get To The Part Where They Eat The Lime Out Of Someone's Clavicle. (I do know that the sippers exist; I just can't fathom being one of them. My experiences with tequila are that quicker is better, and less is more, and NONE is all I can handle.) Amal and the G look like they're headed to different events, but I applaud her for being like (I imagine), "Listen, it's bad enough that our HOUSE IS ATTACHED TO THEIRS, but if you're going to make me hang with Rande and Cindy again, I'm damn well doing to do it in a SERIOUS damn party-mini."

## Rande Gerber, Cindy Crawford

Cindy looks very nice, but also more casual than Amal; Rande, on the other hand, looks like he tried to fancy up more than G did. So I guess these four are a spectrum. The thing is, if I had to hang out with a supermodel all the time, no matter HOW smart I was, I'd probably pull out the tiny gold number too.

We DO need to discuss that George's Dad Jeans aren't doing him any favors. Somewhere, Kate Middleton is sending Amal an email: "I FEEL YOU, SISTER."

Also, the night before, George wore THE EXACT SAME OUTFIT. Why so hard up for cash, G? Surely you could spring for a different shirt? I'm sorry we don't pay you for your services here, but photos eat up our budget, and besides, YOU RENDER NO SERVICES.

Also randomly in attendance: James Blunt. If you had asked me which musician was the most likely to horse around with a hand fan at a tequila party, "You're Beautiful" over there would not have been in my top 50.
