# Fug or Fab: Amanda Seyfried in Lanvin

Sometimes I start writing these things in a charitable mood and then I just devolve into crankiness and such is the case today:

The truth of the matter is that I think the dress is, by itself, potentially cool and interesting if deployed correctly and on the right person (Kirsten Dunst), and while she's not necessarily the wrong person, DAMN IT EVERYONE, IT'S JUNE. I know she's in Japan, and it's sometimes gloomy there in June, but guess what? It's often gloomy here in Los Angeles in June too and we STILL PULL IT TOGETHER and don't come rolling out sporting November's cocktail party widow weeds. I'M OUT.

(It's really the shoes that pushed me over the edge.)
