I mean, look, if you're playing Sleeping Beauty, why NOT wear a very, very, VERY fancy old-fashioned nightgown? To be frank, to me this looks more like a costume than a dress -- if you told me that Elle wore this in the film, I would not be surprised -- but it is a BEAUTIFUL costume. I think if anyone else had popped up wearing this, I would sort of side-eye it, but it's so on theme. I SHALL ALLOW IT. What do you think?

On the other end of the cast, I think Angelina Jolie looks AWESOME in this. The shape reminds me of that great white Ralph & Russo dress she wore last year, and it really suits her. It may need a bracelet.

AND THEN IT ALL WENT TO TELL. Angie just decided to wear a comforting tube and Elle went for that thing she wore to the Pretty in Pink-themed costume ball at her high school. Which is an awesome theme that need never be repeated in real life. You ladies were doing so well.
