I mean, insert my usual about how I wish she'd gone full retro with a red lip but when do I NOT want a red lip? (I literally made friends with the girl working the cash register at my local car wash because she had the BEST LIPSTICK on. She pulled it out of her bag to show me what it was and everything -- Wet & Wild, you guys.)

And any irritation I'd have about a pearl-covered bra strap -- ridiculous in most circumstances -- is mitigated by her reading glasses. You KNOW how much I love a pair of cute reading glasses! So glad we've patched this up, Cate.
