There is something so charmingly easy-breezy about this for what is clearly a lovely day in Australia. But I don't know if it's a top over a dress, or a top and skirt with a tank, or what... I don't MIND the effect of it all, except that I think I wish she'd tucked it in and had a super cute belt, or something. Still, she is pulling that off as well as anyone could, and if we're talking event-appropriateness, it feels EXACTLY right.

And, this is for those of you who are watching such things. He looks very nice, and typically befuddled by all this hoo-ha. I heard competing reports about where he was at the Oscars; some people said he bailed at the last second, but others said they cut his segment (he was supposed to do something with Bat Kid) and pursuant to THAT I read that he surprised Bat Kid at Disneyland the next day and hung out with him the whole time. So I choose to believe THAT version.
