As an aside, I chose this photo because I think it's actually a really great angle of the red carpet: a vast expanse in front of an even vaster pack of photographers. I wonder if it goes by really quickly or if it feels like an eternity of smiling. As a side note, An Eternity of Smiling totally sounds like the title of someone's midlife crisis novel.

This angle is what made me worry about the gown -- that piece on the left the one sticking up over the orange waistband, looks like a wallpaper mistake.

But then the lining is groovy, so... It's SUCH an almost for me. I want it to be fab. I think that one corner of it is fug. But does that average out to fine, or something slightly grander? If only I could mash "fug" and "fab" together into a word that wasn't a hideous epithet. Maybe I'll just settle for "fabbish" and then go cry about why my hair won't do what hers is doing.
