I do like Garner in red. But I'm feeling like more dramatic makeup was required. Do we think she doesn't ever do red lipstick because her lips are so pronounced? That's not a dis, by the way. It's just an empirical fact that Jennifer Garner has prominent lips. It's her Feature. It works for her. But maybe red lipstick would over-accentuate it?

But the dress: What do we think? The circles are probably supposed to be curve-creating, and they do work, sort of, but... they also make me think of basketball. Or a baseball. Or Target. Something about the way this all hangs together looks a little hasty, like what Tim Gunn might call student work, or a Project Runway contestant might call "sleep deprivation and I didn't use my Mood budget wisely and there's no TIME WHY IS THERE NEVER ANY TIME OH MY GOD."
