I actually think this dress is funky on her, and I love the black and light blue. Here's my beef: the hair. It looks too much like Sweet Summer Sundress For A Night Out With The Kids At A Friends' Summer Barbecue hair, and with this dress, it should be something more stylized. And probably off that one shoulder, because of the detailing there.

As such, it creates the aura of Jennifer Garner playing dress-up, rather than Jennifer Garner having easy elegance, [which we know she does because we saw it in February](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/oscars-well-played-jennifer-garner-in-versace-02-2016/).

I do enjoy that this dress is a bit leggy for her, though. She is NOT a leg-flasher, and so letting her above-the-knee region peek out is actually very playful by her usual standards. HOWEVER: Do we think those shoes are a size too small? Aren't her toes dangling precariously off the edge there?

This is another one that required more careful nighttime styling. It's very pretty and hourglass-y on her, but it also does remind me a LOT of the one from the Oscars. It's not that she doesn't look sophisticated and tasteful, because she does. But now is the time to play. I almost wish she and Donatella had traded.

[Fug or Fab: Jennifer Garner in VersaceJ.Gar leaned on Versace for her big Oscars appearance after the Vanity Fair article, and so it makes sense that she'd show up to support Donatella at the couture show. But it also kind of makes me wish Jennifer Garner would turn up at ALL the couture shows, wearing ALL the designers. Much like how I want her to flit about town dating every eligible actor out there.
