This dress confuses me. I can't figure it out. I keep staring at it, wondering if it's got black panels mixed in with the green, or if it's just a trick of the light.

Here, it looks for all the world like it was pieced together from tuxedo scraps and an old prom dress, like Andie from *Pretty In Pink* woke up one day and fell in love with Mr. Roy Biv's middle initial.

But THIS angle makes it look like it WAS lighting. In which case, somebody needs to turn her closet into a professionally lit red-carpet simulation chamber, so as to avoid weird illusions of a mish-mash.

Honestly, I still am not quite sure what I think this dress is. I can't figure it out. I am vexed. And vexation mixed with whatever Satanic seasonal allergy poison is infesting the air right now is a BAD COMBINATION for me before the Golden Globes. Fasten your seatbelts, Hollywood. Mama's in a MOOD.
