Okay, now HERE we get a classic scrolldown fug.

Her head is a Betty Draper throwback thrill, and then... we rarely see her in full-length gown glamour, so I got very excited at this prospect. But in essence this is a yellow sack with a black ribbon tied around it, and one of those dreaded Half Pint hems. (I don't even know what else to call the giant ruffle. It seems painfully folksy, especially in formalwear.) But the thing is, she's wearing a dusky, musky, mustard yellow with élan that would elude so many other comers, and she almost makes me FORGET that it's basically a pillowcase that's dreaming above its station. There's some credit to be given for that.
