## Elizabeth McGovern and Laura Carmichael

This photo amuses me. Their body language is very much Mother and Daughter, with Elizabeth McGovern being all, "now, now, Edith. You go out there and you show them just what you can do! Everyone is going to love you!"

Her own personal body language here is kind of, "wow, it's surprisingly cold today. I'm terrifically fond of you all, but I MUST go inside now."

And Laura's is kind of like, "....well?" She must be sick of people saying/writing things like, "she is SO MUCH PRETTIER in real life," though I suppose that's better than "wow, she looks so much better in the show." I actually think this is rather good -- I LOVE her lipstick -- but I wish she weren't wearing the flats she carries in her tote-bag for days when her feet really start to hurt. What do you think?

[Fug or Fab: Laura Carmichael and Elizabeth McGovernIn which I am really jealous of you lucky Brits who are getting the new season of Downton Abbey so very soon. \[Photos: Pac Coast News\]![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/102661pcn_downtown05.xml)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/fug-or-fab-laura-carmichael-and-elizabeth-mcgovern-08-2013/)
