Looks like fresh extensions on Kidman here, and she's VERY Barbara Mandrell Show Barbie at this event -- which is, frankly, totally on brand for this event.

This dress is halfway to ridiculous. I'm a fan of this color comb, but it's challenging, and if you told me she was in costume for a role in a remake of Flowers in the Attic, it would explain a lot.

I am actually HIGHLY fond of Kidman, but there's something about this dress that makes her look more like a wax figure than usual -- I think it's sort of dated (intentionally), and it gives an overall aura of, "ooooh, we forgot we stuck this back here in the corner." Which....might not be totally her aim?

It's always interesting to me to see what Kidman wears to these events, since she's really just there as Keith's date and not the star of the show.
