I kind of hated this when I first saw it, because it's so... stern. But the iridescent belt is fun, and this fits nicely, and she's so PRETTY< and... listen, let's be honest, we often apply our own fears to these things. And my fear is sweat stains, or at least, here it is. So I look at this gown and see only the potential for lakes and lakes of salty water ruthlessly staining the pits. And then I shudder and then I go into a brief coma.

The different ways the light catches the cummerbund are cool, and I like that it's recessed into the outfit a little. But this photo also illuminates some of the other difficulties with wearing a cut like that: namely, the way it wrinkles and pulls. The lines are disrupted every time she needs to bend her elbow, for instance, and it's creasing around her chest strangely.
