Regardless of what you think of their outfits, I think this is cute. Heather and I have said this here before, but SJP is one of the nicest and most professional people we've ever interviewed (albeit very briefly), and every time I've seen her in action -- like, at Fashion Week -- she's been a complete class act.

I appreciate that they're both wearing unexpected shoes. If we learned anything from SatC, it's that one must LOOK TO THE SHOES.

And now for a real look at the gowns! I love this on her -- would I have done a red lip? Of course. But she looks lovely -- and the shoes and earrings are good. Basically, I think she looks great.

I think this is maybe a little MUCH? SJP is never worn by her clothes, but I think this is a little tiny bit overwhelming on her. Honestly, I think avoiding the smokey eye might have toned down the overall look a bit? Let's discuss.

[Fug or Fab: Sarah Jessica Parker (and Cynthia Nixon) at the Premiere of DivorceI'm not sure what I think of SJP's dress, but I do know that seeing her and Cynthia Nixon together warmed my heart; to me, Miranda and Carrie were the real (platonic) love affair of Sex and the City. I was WAY more upset when they fought than when Carrie was on the offs with Mr Big, and slightly more upset than I was when Steve cheated on Miranda in the movie and I was mostly just mad about that because it seemed really out of character. Don't get me started on that movie (not to mention that we already went into it for NY Mag when it came out).
