Sarah Jessica Parker

I can't tell if those sleeves are part of her dress, or they're a shrug, or they're two legs from a pair of leggings that she's repurposed to keep warm in a MacGyver of Fashion sort of way. I also think she's wearing about three too many accessories. And yet she still looks pretty good? I dunno. I know she engenders strong feelings but I like SJP, you guys.

These feel very Carrie Bradshaw. Also: photos of shoes taken in the store are always sort of sad, aren't they? They just want you to PICK THEM UP AND TAKE THEM HOME.

SJP wants you to have an espadrille this summer. Are you going to deny her? (I am because it makes me insane how easy it is to get the rope portion of said shoe dirty. Although I do love a wedge. A wedge salad and a wedge shoe. I love them both.)

That middle one is cute, right? It's hard to tell without seeing the heels, but we have to work with the photos we've been dealt.

These feel like knock-off of something but not necessarily in a bad way; whatever shoe they're reminiscent of, it is a shoe I like. I love a t-strap. I have actually banned myself from buying any more shoes with ankle straps because I need to get a grip.

Everyone likes a Mary Jane. Carrie Bradshaw especially.

Fug or Fab: Sarah Jessica Parker (and her new line of shoes)
Sarah Jessica Parker has a shoe line at Nordstrom -- that seems about right and also like something she should have jumped on before now -- that she's calling SJP (seems about right, also). Let's look at them (from photos taken actually at the Nordstrom launch, which are always more telling than press photos, kind of like when you check out the photos on Trip Advisor that were uploaded by actual hotel guests and not the hotel), and at her.
