Although, this may have been the face I made when I heard she was cast as Elizabeth Taylor. Except with more horror. And a little grief, and then advance nostalgia for this sweet, sweet time in which the movie she's about to make still does not exist.

Although the mouth is a crucial and troubling part of her image, it's important to note that Lindsay is also wearing clothes. Let us discuss them. It is... not bad? I'm not sure giant spiky sleeves are very flattering on most people. I wouldn't want to hug her. It would be a bit like Elizabethan torture, mayhap.

But if it's HEAVY, then this is at least good arm exercise. You pose, you work your muscles. I might build metal spikes into all my clothes.

Okay. I made it to slide four. That's a victory, right? So, I know it's not supposed to be cool, in this post-Ashley Judd Essay world, to wonder what someone has done to her face. But here is my counterpoint to some of that: Even though it's illusory, we FEEL like we know celebrities because we see them all the time and they're constantly going out for photo ops. And It's human nature to be concerned when someone you know suddenly started walking around looking like they ate a bee. If someone I ACTUALLY knew walked into my house looking like she'd kissed poison ivy, I would turn to Jessica and say, discreetly, "Oh my God, what did she do to her lips?" And that is why I don't feel weird asking, "Oh my God, what did she do to her lips AGAIN and why did she do it AGAIN?"

I am just leaving you with this, for your consideration. While you think about this, I'm going to go take a Restylane. Oops, I mean REST. Be collagentle. No, GENTLE. I mean gentle. Sigh.
