# Fug or Fine the Cuffs: Michelle Buteau

Michelle is not the first to wear jeans designed (or styled) this way, nor will she be the last; she is merely the latest. On today's episode of *The Summer Doldrums*, we ask the important question: Do we *need* to be hemming pants by sawing them off with a butter knife and then saying, "Screw it, I'll just fold them up as far as it takes"? Or could we spare $30 for a tailor? They really chop up her legs and stumpify her. And when she takes those things off at night, she's gonna have to dump them out over the sink. Then again, they might be great for storing crumbs for snacking on during a boring event, so maybe she's actually deploying advanced science.
