Here's the thing: I don't even necessarily hate where this was going, conceptually. The bell sleeves look a little like they were cut while she was flapping her arms, but whatever. It's an interesting shape. But the fit is HORRIBLE on her -- look at the bunching near her right armpit -- and what is going on with her hair?

That particular bang style is way overly aggressive on her. And the top just... it looks, as Tim Gunn would say, like student work. It's very poorly tailored to her, all air bubbles and bunchings, like a iPhone screen cover lazily applied.

Yeah, I can't with the hair. I use those elastics, but I am me, at home in a Notre Dame jersey drinking wine and reveling in an improbable win that we'll probably chase with a ridiculous loss (man, losing seasons are actually so much EASIER on my anxiety), and she is Cameron Diaz in Gucci on the red carpet at a museum gala. At least the open back is nice, and the shoes are murderous fun. Give them to Emily Thorne, please, and let them teach her how to have some.
