Seriously, her top half is "summering" in the Southern Hemisphere, and her bottom half is in Cabo. That's what happens when you wear a moth-eaten tee and then denim panties, I suppose. The cure? Not doing that.

She has her hair half-done in a lot of these pictures, too, which is why I'm inclined to give Wardrobe the benefit of the doubt and say that Selena picked out this little beauty herself for her own personal shlubbery. Which... whatever, we all have crazy grubs in our closets, but it's just so WEIRD. If you're that cold, THEY'RE CALLED PANTS. Or skirts. Or SHORTS, since those are basically granny undies.

Even when she has her hair done, it doesn't help. Actually, I can't even see the shickers at ALL now (I've decided shickers = shorts combined with knickers, in the British sense). She looks a bit like she's anticipating a wet t-shirt contest breaking out, and brought along a wrap for when she gets chilly after her certain victory.

This is what she changed into later -- the actual costume, mayhap? -- and it's a thousand times better. I just tossed it in there for comparison. I don't know. We're gearing up for Fashion Week and the VMAs and everyone is in hiding waiting for Reese Witherspoon to give birth or whatever, so we're working with what we've got. Not to advocate lawbreaking or anything, but I hope Selena nicked this and wore it home and burned the shickers and Swiss Cheese shirt.
