This is a bit of a strange match of subject and magazine, to me. I always associate Marie Claire with, say, mid-twenties professionals on up, and Chloe here is 18. I'm not sure how many of MC's core audience really want to hear an 18-year old girl talk about how she's "not really looking" right now for commitment and isn't sure about dating older people, and how she won't really be into something until she's 23, and how she has trust issues and whatnot. Which isn't to invalidate her experience, but it can be off-putting for people to hear someone who is basically a fetus talk about life as if she's 35.
BUT THE PICTURE. Is atrocious. Her head looks glued on, poorly, like the model is posing behind a cutout of CGM's face. The costume makes her look like a deranged gym clown. And the expression is so CROSS and SCOLDY. I would never spend money on this magazine. I would run AWAY from this magazine.

This is 100 percent better (and I believe is the subscriber cover). It's not PERFECT, but I so much prefer it to the antagonistic circus act that is appearing on newsstands. THIS is the one you use to lure people, and you hit the subscribers with the fearsome calamity because they've already PAID.

I REALLY hate this. It's very Louisa Von Trapp's Erotic Awakening, and even though she's of-age and all, the ode to her inner upper thigh is a bit much for me.

And THIS is very Little Bo Peep Isn't That Fussed About Where Her Sheep Are Actually Because My That Shepherd's Staff is Large And You Know What They Say.

Little Miss Muffet desperately hopes you'll explore her tuffet, but is too shy to ask.

Is she wearing oars on her arms?

She looks like a Claire's sneezed all over her chest.
